This privacy policy governs our use and disclosure of data collected when you use the software application PayDash (“Application”) that was created by Inclusion Economics India Centre based at IFMR/Krea University (formerly EPoD India) as a Free application. The Application is a monitoring and productivity tool for block and district officers in India who oversee the implementation of the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (MGNREGS).
If you choose to use the Application, then you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy. We will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy.
The Application obtains the information you provide when you download and submit your profile within the Application.
When you submit your profile and use the Application, you generally provide.
We may use the information you provided us to contact you from time to time to provide you with important information or required notices. You may also provide us with your contact information if you reach out to us for help within the app.
In addition, the Application may collect certain information automatically, including, but not limited to, contacts on your device, the type of mobile device you use, your mobile device's unique device ID, the IP address of your mobile device, your mobile operating system, the type of mobile Internet browsers you use, and information about the way you use the Application.
The Application may track your usage of the Application through the third-party service Google Analytics for Firebase that may collect information used to identify you. This Application does not collect precise information about the location of your mobile device.
Only aggregated, anonymized data is periodically transmitted to external services (as described below) to help us improve the Application and our service. We will share your information with third parties only in the ways that are described in this privacy statement.
We may disclose User Provided and Automatically Collected Information:
You can stop all collection of information by the Application easily by uninstalling the Application. You may use the standard uninstall processes as may be available as part of your mobile device or via the mobile application marketplace or network. You can also request to opt-out via email, at epodindianrega@gmail.com.
This Service may contain links to other sites. If you click on a third-party link, you will be directed to that site. Note that these external sites are not operated by us. Therefore, we strongly advise you to review the Privacy Policy of these websites. We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites or services.
We will retain User Provided data for as long as you use the Application and for 24 months thereafter. We will retain Automatically Collected information for up to 24 months and thereafter may store it in aggregate. If you’d like us to delete User Provided Data that you have provided via the Application, please contact us at epodindianrega@gmail.com and we will respond in 10 working days. Please note that some or all of the User Provided Data may be required in order for the Application to function properly. If you request deletion of your data, we will remove identified user provided and automatically collected data from our record storage systems and require our vendors to do the same.
We do not track App users over time nor across third-party websites or online services to provide targeted advertising, and we do not specifically respond to Do Not Track (“DNT”) signals.
The Application is designed for users who are over 18 years of age. We do not use the Application to knowingly solicit data from or market to children under the age of 13. If a parent or guardian becomes aware that his or her child has provided us with information without their consent, he or she should contact us at epodindianrega@gmail.com. We will delete such information from our files within 15 working days.
We are concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your information. We provide physical, technical, and procedural safeguards to protect information we process and maintain to prevent unauthorized access, maintain accuracy, and ensure appropriate use of your information. All data collected is stored cloud-based databases hosted on AWS. Access to information we collect is limited to authorized employees and contractors who need to know that information in order to operate, develop or improve our Application. Please be aware that, although we endeavor to provide reasonable security for information we process and maintain, no security system can prevent all potential security breaches.
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time for any reason. We will notify you of any changes to our Privacy Policy by informing you via email or text message. You are advised to consult this Privacy Policy regularly for any changes, as continued use is deemed approval of all changes.
By using the Application, you are consenting to our processing of your information as set forth in this Privacy Policy. "Processing,” means using cookies on a computer/hand held device or using or touching information in any way, including, but not limited to, collecting, storing, deleting, using, combining and disclosing information. Your information will be transferred, processed and stored under Indian privacy standards.
